A3 has partnered with Avy to build a national avalanche course directory. The data for avalanche courses will live on a platform that is used by a growing number of avalanche centers. The tool we've built allow providers to manage their information, create/edit courses (for their provider only). They will display in a clean filterable view that will be embedded on A3's site, avalanche.org, in avalanche center websites, partner websites (think pre-filtered motorized courses on Skidoo's site) and can even be used on provider sites (pre-filtered by provider).
The high level flow is:
Both A3 staff and Providers (those hosting courses) will have logins with limited roles in AvyWeb. The expectation is that A3 Staff will set the Providers up in the system then Providers will create and manage their course listings. A3 Staff will monitor and update any records as they see fit.
